Eligibility: 

The Miss Troup County Scholarship Competitions are open to young women who live, work, or attend school in Georgia. 

 

The age eligibility for Miss candidates is as follows:

• Miss candidates must be a high school graduate.

• Miss candidates must be 19 years of age by December 31 of the year they compete at state.

• Miss candidates cannot be older than 26 on December 31 of the year they compete at state.

 

The age eligibility for Outstanding Teen candidates is as follows:

• To compete in the outstanding teen division, candidates must be 13 years of age by the first day  they compete at the state level.

• To compete in the teen division, candidates cannot be older than 18 on December 31 of the year they compete at state.

Proof of Eligibility and Headshot: You will need to provide a copy of  your birth certificate and proof of residence with your contract. This serves as your verification of age eligibility and state of Georgia eligibility for competition. 

 

You will need to provide a digital color photo (jpeg) head shot for newspaper, social media, and program book publicity. Your head shot must be high-resolution and submitted via email.

Opening Number:  You will not be required to learn a dance. There will be basic stage maneuvers for the opening number, followed by candidate introductions. Introductions will include candidate number, name, and social impact initiative. Opening number attire will be the same outfit worn for private interview. (Immediately following opening number, Miss candidates will compete in onstage question and social impact pitch, wearing their interview/opening number attire).

​Please refer to the paperwork list below and submit the packet of paperwork along with your 90 second talent track, copy of your birth certificate, your proof of residence, and a high-resolution digital color head shot (jpeg) by October 3, 2022.
